2020 Lodge Leadership Development


Participate in 3 Easy Steps:

  1. Start by watching the Lodge Adviser's Minute.
  2. Watch THREE (3) training videos between Dec. 4th and Jan. 1st. The videos are short and the links are below.
  3. Complete the debrief form if you want to receive credit for attending this virtual event. Attending an LLD is a requirement for the Active Arrowman Award. Learn more at tulpelodge.org/activearrowman.
  4. Register for and attend the Virtual "State of the Lodge" Forum on Dec. 13th at 3:00PM.

Bringing the OA Back to Your Unit

Description: This presentation discusses the different ways you can incorporate the Order of the Arrow into your troop and their meetings. This includes taking new positions of responsibility, points to discussion with adult leaders and fellow youth, and much more!

The Role of Adults in the OA

Description: Ever wonder what you can do as an adult in the OA? Well the ideas and positions are endless. There is always a spot for you as an adult. Watch this video to learn some of the various ways you can become involved in the OA as an Adult!

*Every precaution was taken for the protection of the presenters and crew in attendance. We followed all of the guidance provided by the state health department and the Narragansett Council. In addition, filming took place in an open air shelter and temperature checks were completed upon arrival. Proper social distancing was practiced and actively monitored. Face coverings were worn by everyone present except the presenters while on-camera.



Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I count these trainings towards my Active Arrowman Award requirements?

    Answer: Yes you can! To count as an "official" participant, you will need to watch all of the training videos between the time that they are released (December 4th, 2020) and January 1st, 2021. You will need to fill out the debrief form after watching all of the training videos. Additionally, attendance at the virtual "State of the Lodge" forum on Zoom on December 13th at 3:00PM is mandatory to count this as an event that you officially attended.   • Do I need to register for this event?

    Answer: Yes and No. No, you do not need to register to watch the videos. Yes, you do need to register to attend the Virtual LLD Forum on Zoom on December 13th. The link to register is above. The Zoom meeting link will be sent to the email that you provide.
